Mitchell GP Tables

This table features a combination of nickel-chromium-plated and powder coated understructure. Solid-core high pressure laminated tops assure long-lasting quality. End legs are 1" X 2" rectangular steel tubes with nickel-chromium finish. Heavy-duty angular design: 16-gauge on upright and 14-gauge on cross members.

Fold-N-Roll capability provides easy movement from room-to-room, plus the ability to change f loorplans with minimal effort. Ideal for cafeterias and multi-purpose areas. Compact Storage:Each Gemini PorTable requires only 7-1/2 square feet of floor space for storage. Heavy-duty 4” casters provide smooth and easy movement. Concealed, tamper resistant stabilizers assure effortless folding and unfolding steps. Locks secure each model in folded and unfolded positions.

Flush, In-line Seating: Rigid 1” x 2” welded steel tube supports are firmly positioned under each seat, eliminating the clutter of multiple upright legs and brace networks.

Scuff Resistant Finish: Gemini PortTables understructure sections vulnerable to scuff marks, scratches and abrasions are protected by a stainless steel cover plate for added protection.

Divided Weight Distribution: Weight on table and seats/benches is evenly distributed between horizontal supports and legs. Constant contact with f loor removes possibility of table drift or movement.

Full Factory Assembly No field assembly or adjustments are necessary. Gemini PorTables are ready for immediate us.

Easy to Clean Table tops, seats and permanently bonded edging clean quickly. Uncluttered understructure provides easy access for thorough, sanitary cleaning of the table and floors.

Color Selection Seat laminate choices are available in solid colors of red, yellow, blue and green or in a variety of patterns from the Wilsonart® catalog. Tops are available in a wide range of solid or wood-grain patterns. Contact Mitchell Furniture Systems, Inc. for specific requests.

No Moving Seat Parts All Gemini PorTable seats are permanently attached in fixed positions. Noise, distractions and instability often inherent with swivel-type seats are eliminated.

Table Tops Supported by two full-length channel aprons, 13⁄4” deep, of 16-gauge cold rolled steel, with safety end dress-off fittings.

End Legs 1” x 2” rectangular box steel with nickel chromium finish. This is a heavy duty design with 16 gauge uprights and 14 gauge cross members.

Center Legs Twin dual-type 1” x 1” square steel tube, with cushion glides to provide four-point floor contact.

Casters Four heavy-duty, 4” diameter, non-marking, ball-bearing,  swivel type.

Lift assistance Built-in stabilizers and an extra set of spring tubes provide the necessary assistance for easy folding and unfolding.

Locking Folded position – Automatic locking, manual release. Unfolding position – Automatic locking, manual release.

Table and Bench Tops Plastic laminate sheets, 45 pound density particle board, balanced with backing sheets. Approx. 13⁄16” total thickness.

Plastic Tops  Available in a variety of pleasing colors in standard  plastic patterns.

Edges Table and bench tops banded for protection with Dura-Edge, heavy, contoured Jet Black polyvinyl or black DuraBond sprayed on Polyurea.

Metal Parts Finish  End legs and center supports are Nickel Chromium; all other metal parts are Powder Coated Jet Black.

Unitized Construction Welded steel brackets and fittings solidly join and position legs and braces to channel top supports. Table tops attached to unitized understructure with hex-head, Sure-Grip Screws.
