This seemingly simple piece of furniture is actually a technological marvel. A special resin is applied over the surface material, providing powerful resistance to multiple chemicals.

Black, Chem-Res high-pressure laminate top on a 1-1/8" thick core is resistant to 13 chemicals.

Metal on metal double bolt through leg assembly. Legs securely attach to 13-gauge steel corner brace using two bolts and locknuts for double stability and security.

Hardwood legs and apron made from ash wood. Ash is known to have less knots than oak and other hardwoods, making it stronger and less susceptible to cracking. Legs include rubber liquid protecting boots and adjustable glides for accurate leveling. 

The Chem-Res layer is bonded to the table core at high pressure and temperatures to achieve a nearly inseparable bond.  is Phenolic top is made of a modified phenolic resin composite which is thermo-fused under heat and pressure to form a solid black panel that is rugged, crack resistant, and extremely chemical resistant. It is solid phenolic throughout, offering a beautiful and superior lab surface material.
